Laws Governing the

Native Plants of Arizona

The Arizona Department of Agriculture website has a great deal of information relating to the protection of native plants in the State of Arizona. Information on plant salvage and recovery is governed by state law under Arizona Revised Statutes Title 3.  Go to Chapter 7, Arizona Native Plants. Or go to Arizona Revised Statutes for specific information.

Their website also provides information about obtaining a form to remove protected plants and locations for obtaining permits. They also have a list of Protected Native Plants.
