The Native Plant Society of New Mexico State Conference is coming soon – August 20-22 in Alamogordo – open to all lovers of native plants! Presentations, field trips and workshops over the three-day conference will support the Otero Chapter’s theme of “People and Native Plants: A Journey Through Time” by highlighting the interwoven history of people and native plants in this fragile and fascinating Chihuahuan Desert region comprising the Tularosa Basin and surrounding mountain ranges.
