DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Fred Heath\, “Bodacious Butterflies” \nDescription:  Anyone present in SE Arizona in the second half of 2021 couldn’t help but notice the unprecedented abundance of butterflies. Fred will present a brief primer on butterfly biology: life cycle\, host vs. nectar plants\, predators and avoidance including mimicry which will help explain this phenomenal flight. In addition\, Fred will explain how members of Tucson ANPS helped to solve the mystery (at least to him) of a grass/butterfly connection. \nThe zoom link for the meeting will be sent to the eblast mailing list on Monday\, April 11\, 2022.  The meeting will open at 6:45 pm to allow socializing before our speaker begins. If you are not on the listserve\, write to nativeplantstucson@gmail.com to request the link.
