The Waterman Restoration site is located on BLM land within the boundaries of Ironwood Forest National Monument, west of the town of Marana, near Silverbell Mine. A Department of Interior grant helps to fund the work of removing recurring Buffelgrass. Now the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society will provide rescued saguaros (Carnegiea gigantea) to the 18-acre restoration area.
