This in-person workshop will teach how to attract and support pollinators using region-specific guidelines developed by a local panel of experts (including the Arizona Native Plant Society, Phoenix Chapter).
You will learn about our pollinators and their needs and the practical steps you can take to set up and maintain your habitat. Anyone can participate, even with a few potted plants on a balcony.
Workshop participants will also learn about the Maricopa Pollinator Pathway, a free local program to get habitat certified.
Thursday, October 19th from 6-7:30 at the South Mountain Community Library
Workshop taught by Danielle Carlock, founder of the Maricopa Native Seed Library and Maricopa Pollinator Pathway.
