The Center for Native and Urban Wildlife is hosting their fall plant sale this month at Scottsdale Community College. Fall is the best time to plant, allowing your new plants to get established before the stress of summer, so don’t miss your chance. SCC is a branch of the Maricopa Native Seed Library, so stop by for some free native seeds while you’re there!
Be sure to take a moment to stroll from the greenhouse to the Two Waters Circle on campus to see the diverse native plant garden the campus has. The circle is an example of a native riparian environment and is surrounded by a wide range of native plants and animals.
