Collect native seeds while learning to identify native plants in their seed stage and how to harvest and clean native seeds sustainably. Collected seeds are for the Desert Defenders and will be used for restoration projects. Event hosted by the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation department and the Central Arizona Conservation Alliance.
Please bring work gloves, water, and a snack. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and closed-toed shoes. We will be meeting at the park’s Nature Center.
