Buck-horn Cholla
Cylindropuntia acanthocarpa
This cholla is native to the Mojave, Sonoran and Colorado Deserts of North America. Along with Cylindropuntia bigelovii (the “teddy bear” cholla), it is the most common cholla found in these deserts.
