Description | This drought tolerant ragweed is one of the most abundant species in the palo verde/saguaro communities indicative of the Sonoran desert. A good plant to include in a garden which seeks to mimic Sonoran desert ecosystems. Also an important species for Sonoran desert habitat restoration projects. The wind blown pollen can trigger allergies in some people. |
