Description | Quailbush is an extremely hardy, silver leafed shrub, which can serve as an excellent screening hedge. Plants generally grow wider then they do tall and can ultimately cover large areas. Wildlife is attracted to this plant because of its thick growth habit, salty leaves, and the seeds of pistillate plants. Be sure to give this plant plenty of room, it's not the best choice for planting right near sidewalks, or narrow walkways. This species can be planted along fence lines or as a living fence, it also works well as a foundation planting against the walls of buildings |
