Description | An unfortunately uncommon plant in the nursery trade, this widespread perennial wildflower is appropriate for gardens across much of the state. Delphinium throws up its mostly leafless stems in the springtime and then reveal gorgeous blue and white flowers with blue spurs. This plant is able to grow in hot, well draining locations in habitats ranging from desert scrub to oak woodland and riparian canyons. |
