Description | A Hedgehog cactus which is found primarily in central Arizona, this plant has striking magenta blooms, on short, stocky branches which are typically under a foot tall. Most often this species will have shorter spines than E. fasciculatus. In habitat this plant is found in grasslands and woodlands between Tucson and Prescott. |
