| Description | This species of Isocoma is more widespread than I. tenuisecta and is found in hot, exposed locations around the Grand Canyon, Organ Pipe Cactus NM, and the Phoenix/Prescott area. This species Is tough as nails and is frequently found associated with creosote and other extremely drought tolerant species. Plants bloom in late summer/early fall and provide a reliable late season nectar source for pollinators. Good for restorations of disturbed sites, or for planting in "outside the fence" areas where it is difficult to provide reliable water. |
