Description This plant is not common in cultivation, but would make an interesting choice for high elevation gardens. Typically found in pine woodlands in the filtered light of the forest canopy. Grow in well draining soil under a canopy of pine (pinus spp.) and oak (Quercus spp.), along with wildflowers like columbine (Aquilegia chrysantha), or coral bells (Heuchera sanguinea)
