Description | Greenthread grows in a wide elevational range across eastern Arizona, and is suitable for a number of species assemblages. This plant can be somewhat "weedy" under the right circumstances, reseeding throughout disturbed areas. This plant makes a good addition to gardens dedicated to native herbs and edibles like oreganillo (Aloysia wrightii), wolfberry (Lycium spp.), and western mugwort (Artemesia ludoviciana). May benefit from light shade in lower elevation gardens. |
