Description As the specific epithet (versicolor) would suggest, this Cholla cactus has extremely variable blooms. Yellow, red, orange, magenta and other flower colors mean that multiple clones could be blended into a landscape to take advantage of the range of tones available. This plant intergrades with and can look similar to Walking Stick Cholla but tends to be larger and more densely branched.
