Description | Found along steamsides in the eastern half of Arizona from Prescott south to the border. This shade loving vine produces tubular white flowers which are attractive to pollinators. Because of its preferred habitat this vine would be best used in shady gardens, and perhaps as a greywater plant on the northside of a structure. The stems are weakly twining so a trellis will be necessary for walls, a great use of White honeysuckle would be under trees where the vine can languidly climb bark and branches to cast its shower of white blossoms, and where its fruit can attract birds. |
